Jetty Island

We went to Jetty Island a few weeks ago.  Well we kinda went there.  Since moving here, Gracie has become fascinated with boats and loves when we see them and wants to ride the ferries every chance we get.  So....one Saturday we decided to check out Jetty Island..  We waited for the tiny little ferry, more like a people mover, to take us across the Snohomish River to a man made island.  We got on the boat after waiting about an hour, got on the boat, rode for 3 minutes and then got off.  Gracie hates when the wind is blowing even slightly.  She will put her hood on and say, "chilly, chilly, chilly."  Well, apparently it was too cold for this desert girl to get down and play and she just wanted us to hold her, so 20 minutes later, we were back on the boat heading back to the parking lot.  Jetty Island, maybe another day we will visit you again, another day when it isn't so chilly (or there isn't even a hint of the tinniest breeze floating through the air).
