Bothell's Music in the Park

We are so very fortunate to have Bill, Caren and Jill Jensen (2nd cousins) a few minutes down the road.  Their community does music in the park every Friday night during the summer months and we have been able to go with them a couple of times.  Gracie LOVES to dance around and she loves to be around family so this has been a fun thing to do.  Plus it is free.  Can't beat that.  We just pack a dinner and some snacks, our camping chairs and we are set!

The first time we went, Bill wasn't able to make it.  He was a little under the weather but we loved hanging out with Caren and Jill.  The music was a done by a blues brothers group and it was just ok.  It was still pretty chilly and Gracie mostly just wanted to walk around and see everyones' dogs.  We left Rox at home. 

The last time we went, it was Elvis night!  It was so much fun!  Gracie really got into it.  She was dancing all over the place and bopping all around.  We saw hot air balloons and there was even a clown there tying balloon animals for the kids.  Plus, this Elvis was pretty darn good.  Funny fact they announced:  "This Elvis is one of ten in the entire country that is recognized by Graceland!"  Umm hello?  He was legit!!!!
