Gasworks Park

February 5th was some sort of Seattle record.  It was another gorgeous day so we headed down to Gasworks Park on Lake Union.  It is an old gasification plant that the city turned into a park in the 1970's.  We ran around and played and threw rocks into the lake and pretended we were airplanes.  We watched guys paddleboard by us and watched float plans land.  We ate Jimmy John's sandwiches and giant pickles and we laughed and giggled a lot!  Oh!  And we even made the Seattle Komo 4 News!  It was a pretty perfect day.

Here is the news.  While we were at the park we noticed a guy about 30 yards down with a pretty big camera asking people dumb questions like, "what do you think of this sun?"  We had no idea who he was or if he even worked for a tv station.  BUT when we got home that night, I flipped on the tv and there we were!  Small and in the background but on the Seattle News none the less.  :)

Do you see us?  Check out the left side.  Me in pink, Jimi and little G.  Our claim to fame.
